With Promises (2025), Estelle Perrault embraces a sound at the crossroads of jazz, soul and R&B. More intimate and autobiographical, the album features entirely original material exploring vulnerability, disillusionment and the search for self.
Produced with pianist Rob Clearfield, this third album, according to Télérama, firmly establishes her as “the jazzwoman to follow”.
With Dare That Dream, her second album released in 2021, Estelle Perrault takes a new step forward, presenting her own compositions for the first time. Written largely during the first lockdown, the album blends original material with jazz standards, combining a contemporary sensibility with deep jazz roots.
Alongside pianist Carl-Henri Morisset and trumpeter Hermon Mehari, she explores a more personal voice, shaped by nostalgia, hope and renewal.
Télérama praised its “beautiful balance between classic jazz and melodic modernity”, describing her as "coming into her own as a songwriter and composer".
Lots of Love is Estelle Perrault’s debut album, recorded in 2019 in collaboration with pianist Alain Jean-Marie. Rooted in jazz standards and the Great American Songbook, the album reveals a singer shaped by the jazz tradition and, in the words of Télérama, allowed her to “establish herself as a jazz singer”.
